About the Role


Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using

    Ranorex Studio

    .
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and define test automation strategy.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
  • Perform root cause analysis of automation failures and ensure test stability.
  • Support regression testing and ensure consistent test coverage across releases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ranorex automation tool including Scripting.

  • Strong knowledge of test automation concepts, scripting, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in

    C#

    (Ranorex scripting languages).
  • Experience in test case design, execution, and reporting.
  • Understanding of

    desktop, web, and/or mobile test automation

    .
  • Familiarity with

    object recognition, XPath, UI automation frameworks

    .
  • Experience with version control tools
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools ( Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with other automation tools (Selenium).
  • Knowledge of performance and API testing tools.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
