Job Title: Territory Sales Manager – Northern Kerala

Location: Based in Calicut / Malappuram (Field Role)
Office Location: HiLITE Business Park, Calicut
Territory Covered: Malappuram, Calicut, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

Chefouse is a rapidly growing food manufacturing brand reshaping India’s FMCG landscape through its high-quality snacks and bakery products. With multiple production units across Kerala and a strong commitment to retail penetration, we are expanding our regional sales leadership.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-performing Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to lead and grow our market share across Northern Kerala. This person will drive sales generation, retail expansion, and distributor/channel management by onboarding new outlets, supporting the field team, and ensuring target achievement.

The TSM will work closely with the internal sales team and distributors, while also coordinating with the central office in HiLITE Business Park and visiting production units for periodic reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation & Market Expansion

  • Drive product sales by onboarding new retailers, dealers, and stockists across the assigned districts
  • Identify high-potential areas for market entry and expansion
  • Ensure monthly sales and outlet coverage targets are achieved
  • Plan and execute retail activations in collaboration with the marketing team

Distributor & Field Team Management

  • Manage distributor relationships: performance, stock movement, and issue resolution
  • Oversee and support the field sales team in day-to-day retail onboarding and order-taking
  • Conduct joint field visits, review performance, and guide team members
  • Maintain alignment between central strategy and field execution

Reporting & Coordination

  • Monitor daily sales reports, collections, and coverage
  • Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and feedback sharing
  • Travel between production units and the head office for meetings, updates, and coordination
  • Serve as a key regional point of contact for sales, marketing, and supply chain teams

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of field sales experience in the FMCG industry
  • Strong experience in dealer/distributor onboarding and retail sales development
  • Proficiency in handling local markets in North Kerala (Malappuram to Kasaragod)
  • Good coordination and communication skills to manage people and processes
  • Must have valid 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving licenses
  • Comfortable with frequent field travel and inter-district mobility

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Fixed Monthly Salary
  • Sales Incentives (Performance-Based)
  • Travel Allowance + Food Allowance
  • Phone/field support as applicable

Sales Manager / CEO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • FMCG Field Sales: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • Malayalam (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Preferred)
