Position Overview

Sales Professional

An engineering background with proven experience in Industrial sales of pumps, valves, and heat exchangers is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover the entire assigned territory and take complete responsibility for sales growth.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales funnel by generating qualified leads and nurturing opportunities.
  • Conduct meticulous follow-ups with customers and coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely closure of orders.
  • Provide support in resolving challenging customer situations with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Play an active role in preparing and achieving the territorys sales forecast and outcomes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report market intelligence and competition activities from the territory to support business strategy.
  • Manage receivables efficiently and ensure timely collection of statutory documents.
  • Actively participate in sales promotional activities such as technical seminars, product presentations, and exhibitions in the territory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common business goals and ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Continuously upgrade product knowledge and market understanding through learning and training initiatives.
  • Uphold and adhere to the organizations values, policies, and code of conduct in all professional dealings.

Experience (Mandatory)

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in industrial sales of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related fluid handling products.
  • Must have worked in the assigned territory for at least 1 year.
  • Preference for candidates with direct sales experience over dealer/distributor sales.

  • Street-smart, self-starter with strong customer-handling and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated record of achievements in prior sales roles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical and analytical ability to position product solutions effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
