Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a result-oriented and proactive Territory Sales Incharge to oversee and drive sales performance within an assigned region. The role demands a strong understanding of the FMCG distribution network, team coordination, and retail sales execution. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in tea or beverage product sales who can ensure market growth, channel efficiency, and effective distributor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets within the assigned territory.
  • Manage and support distributors, ensuring smooth product flow, timely billing, and adequate stock availability.
  • Lead and guide field sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Expand retail coverage by identifying and onboarding new retailers and sub-distributors.
  • Monitor market activities, competitor performance, and trade trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure effective execution of promotional campaigns, merchandising, and brand visibility initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market visits to track performance, gather feedback, and strengthen relationships with trade partners.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and accounts teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and collection.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, performance reviews, and market intelligence updates for management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the tea or beverage segment.
  • Strong understanding of distributor management, retail sales operations, and territory development.
  • Proven leadership and team-handling abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
