Job Title: District Sales Officer / Area Sales ExecutiveLocation: [Insert Location] Department: Sales & Marketing Industry: Cement / Building Materials Purpose of the PositionThis role is responsible for planning and monitoring district-level sales activities to achieve targeted volume and EBITDA while adhering to company credit policies. The position involves the promotion of thrust brands, maximization of sales and collections, effective customer service, and development of a strong retail and dealer network. The role also includes managing warehousing operations and executing strategic sales promotion initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve district-level sales volume and EBITDA targets. Generate new demand and identify potential dealer appointments. Maintain and monitor dealer-wise credit limits in coordination with ASM/RSO Head/Unit Head. Ensure timely supply of cement to dealers and customers. Monitor and regulate dealer wholesale and retail pricing to ensure price premium. Promote cost-effective supply linkages and optimize transportation & distribution costs (TDC). Lead brand promotion activities for thrust brands and execute marketing initiatives as planned. Conduct regular market visits, gather market intelligence, and provide timely reports to the branch office/RMO. Supervise C&F agents, oversee warehouse operations, and ensure smooth logistics coordination. Facilitate the reconciliation of sundry debtors and obtain balance confirmations. Study market representation and maintain competitive benchmarking. Build and expand the retail network; engage with end customers and influence groups such as IHBs and contractors. Ensure cost control across operations and optimize resource utilization.
