Job Title: Territory Manager – Biological Agri Inputs (West Bengal)

Location: North 24 parganas + South 24 parganas

Experience: 2–6 years in agrochemical / fertilizer / bio-input sales

CTC: Competitive (fixed + strong incentives)

Farmology is a new age Agritech company which blends proprietary Agri-inputs and digital agronomy. Based out of Kolkata, dedicated to assisting farmers in their farming journey. The organization focuses on helping farmers understand crop health and protection to minimize pre-harvest losses. Farmology aims to promote eco-friendly products through government cooperative societies and a strong distribution network across major agriculture states in India.


Role Description

We are expanding our agri-inputs business across West Bengal and looking for a Territory Manager who can drive on-ground sales, build dealer networks, manage key retailers, and run field demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Dealer Network Expansion: Identify, onboard, and activate new retailers and sub-dealers in assigned blocks.
  2. Sales & Target Delivery: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the territory.
  3. Collections: Ensure timely recovery of payments and maintain credit discipline with dealers.
  4. Farmer Engagement: Conduct field demos, plot visits, farmer meetings, and product training sessions.
  5. Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing, and demand patterns at block/village level.
  6. Channel Servicing: Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and provide timely support.
  7. Reporting: Daily field reporting via mobile apps/CRM; maintain visit discipline.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–6 years in agrochemical, fertiliser, bio-inputs, or seed sales
  • Strong retailer network in the assigned districts
  • Experience with on-ground demos and farmer activation
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Familiarity with district/block-level agri markets
  • Must be willing to travel extensively (80% field time)
  • Basic comfort with WhatsApp, CRM, and digital reporting
