Job Description

7 - 10 years experience in Tendering, Quotations and Estimations work with a good understanding of industrial Bearing, Transmission products and other Industrial Products business in Trading Industries

  • S/he should have a good understanding of tender management process.
  • S/he should have extensively worked on Offline Tenders along with Online Tendering Portals like e-procure, IREPS, GEM - CPPP / etenders, Public Sector Tendering like BHEL, BEML, NTPC, NLC, etc., gathering information about new tenders floated.
  • S/He should follow relevant procedures for Tender compilation, Prepare Commercial and Technical bid Tender as per scope, Timely submission of all tenders & Bid Documentation. Follow up on a bid, prepare an online-offline tender inquiry,
  • Should be good at Rate analysis and quantity survey will give additional preference.
  • Candidate will be responsible for meeting all external and internal deadlines to submit the bidding documents on time. Arrange the Tender Fees, EMD, and PBG for related tender, final tender. Searching of new tendering opportunities through various options both Online & Offline
  • Working in collaboration with other departments.
  • Up-keep of customer database and updating it on regular basis.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone, fax and email.
  • Support in Preparation and emailing of Quotations as per enquiries and customer requirements received. To follow up with customers, liaison with customer on the proposals and tenders wherever necessary.
  • Coordination with Principals and other vendors for pricing from time to time as per requirement. Prepare Purchase order on Principals and other Vendors as per requirement.
  • Determine the best shipment methods, estimate freight weights, negotiate and arrange transport with shipping or freight companies and prepare and issue all shipping documentation and Handle Import and domestic logistics.
  • Prepare MIS reports as per sales team & management requirement.

Preferred candidate profile

An Ideal Candidate would be Any Graduate holder preferably B E Mechanical Or B.Com, with 7 - 12 yrs of relevant experience in Tendering Role in an Industrial & Auto Ancillary Products / Spares trading Company. A self-starter, fast learner, Results-orientated and able to work in a small team environment with minimal supervision. Having good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to multitask. Current computer skills are required - specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets and Internet. Strong ability to be organized and prioritize. This role would most suit someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where both hard work and fun are valued.
