Job Description

Job Title: GEM Portal Tender Executive – Pharma

Department: Sales / Business Development / Tendering

Reports To: Sales Manager / Business Head / Director

Job Summary:

The Tender Executive will be responsible for managing the entire process of government and institutional tenders related to pharmaceutical products. This includes identifying opportunities, preparing tender documents, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely submission of bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Identification & Analysis:
  • Regularly monitor tender portals (GeM, CPPP, state procurement sites, etc.) for pharma-related tenders.
  • Evaluate eligibility, technical requirements, and commercial terms before participation.
  • Tender Preparation & Submission:
  • Prepare and compile all necessary documents (technical bids, financial bids, product dossiers, certificates).
  • Coordinate with QA, RA (Regulatory Affairs), Production, and Accounts teams for required documents.
  • Ensure error-free and timely online/offline submission of tenders.
  • Post-Tender Activities:
  • Track tender status, clarifications, and results.
  • Follow up on tender awards, purchase orders, and contract execution.
  • Maintain records of submitted tenders, bid outcomes, and pricing data.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all licenses, registrations, and certifications (GMP, ISO, Drug Licenses, GST, etc.) are updated.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reporting.
  • Coordination & Reporting:
  • Work closely with the sales and business development team to align tender pricing and strategy.
  • Provide regular MIS reports on tenders participated, won/lost, and revenue generated.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / BBA / MBA preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in tender management, preferably in pharma or healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and pharma documentation.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and online tender portals.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Salary Range:

₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month (depending on experience and company norms).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
