Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Tendering Executive with a strong background in railway tendering to lead and manage all tender-related activities for our company. The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of hands-on experience in tendering through IREPS and GeM portal, and a well-established network with railway officials. The role demands a candidate who is strategic, detail-oriented, and capable of securing new orders and projects independently.

Key Responsibilities:Tendering & Documentation:

• Identify, track, and participate in relevant tenders floated by Indian Railways, PSUs, and government departments.
• Prepare, compile, and submit EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and BOQs accurately and within deadlines.
• Manage end-to-end tendering on the IREPS and GeM portal, including bid uploads, digital signatures, and document submissions.
• Ensure all compliance, certifications, and eligibility criteria are met for each tender.

Order Generation & Client Networking:

• Build and maintain relationships with Railway department officials and other relevant government authorities.
• Actively follow up on submitted bids to ensure order closures.
• Keep a pulse on upcoming tenders, policy changes, and procurement trends in the railway and government sector.
• Liaise with clients and departments to understand technical specs and pricing requirements.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with internal teams (accounts, production, logistics) for input on pricing, delivery, and project capability.
• Track and report tender status, win/loss ratio, and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain all records of bids, outcomes, and post-tender communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in railway tendering.
• In-depth knowledge of GeM portal, IREPS, and other government procurement platforms.
• Strong network within Indian Railways and related PSUs is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
