Tender Executive

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage the end-to-end tendering process. The role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing documentation, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely submission of tenders. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of government and private sector tender portals and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Identify and monitor relevant tenders on various government/private portals (e.g., GeM, IREPS, E-procurement, etc.). Analyze tender requirements and coordinate with internal departments (sales, technical, finance, etc.) for documentation and technical/commercial inputs. Prepare, compile, and submit bids/tenders in accordance with guidelines and deadlines. Maintain a database of submitted and ongoing tenders, contracts, and their outcomes. Ensure compliance with all legal and company requirements in the tendering process. Track tender results and follow up on awarded tenders for contract signing and execution. Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure alignment of offers and tender submissions. Assist in drafting pricing proposals, letters, and contractual documents when required. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in handling tenders (especially in government/industrial sectors). Familiarity with GeM, IREPS, and other e-tendering portals. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good written and verbal communication. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing/engineering company. Knowledge of commercial terms, taxes, and pricing structures. Understanding of technical specifications and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
