Manager Accounts The Manager – Accounts will lead the overall accounting, taxation, and financial operations of the company. This role involves managing GST/TDS compliance, overseeing stock/material accounting, monitoring logistics-related financials, managing vendor payments, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders. The candidate will supervise the accounts team and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Management Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in books of accounts. Review and approve sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries. Manage overall stock, inventory valuation, and material accounting. Monitor costing, consumption, material movement, and logistics financial controls. Ensure smooth functioning of the accounts team and streamline processes. 2. GST & TDS Compliance Supervise preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return). Oversee GST input/output reconciliation and address mismatches. Monitor calculation, deduction, deposit of TDS, and filing of TDS returns. Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory guidelines. 3. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Review bank reconciliation, vendor/party reconciliation, and inter-branch reconciliation. Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, profitability reports, and variance analysis. Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits. 4. Vendor & Party Management Review and approve vendor invoices and payment schedules. Ensure timely release of payments as per credit terms. Resolve escalated vendor/party issues, disputes, and ledger mismatches. Manage relationships with suppliers, clients, and service providers. 5. Logistics & Material Coordination Oversee accounting related to logistics, freight charges, GRN, dispatch, and transportation. Implement and monitor controls for material movement and stock records. Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams for material reconciliation. 6. Liaisoning & Bank Coordination Liaison with banks for payments, loans, OD/CC limits, BG/LC, and compliance documentation. Coordinate with government departments, consultants, auditors, and vendors. Ensure timely completion of statutory compliance and financial documentation. 7. Team Leadership Supervise, mentor, and train the accounts team. Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance. Implement best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and automation. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: MBA Finance / CA Inter (preferred) ICWA/CMA. Experience: 5–10 years in accounting, taxation, inventory, and financial management. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP systems Strong Excel and financial analysis skills Soft Skills: Leadership & team management Strong communication & coordination Decision-making & problem-solving Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Provident Fund Work Location: In person
