Job Title: Telecom Engineer – Oil & Gas Domain Location: Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, India Job Type: Full-Time, On-site (5 Days Working) Notice Period: Immediate to 20 Days (Strictly Enforced) Job Summary: We are seeking a Telecom Engineer with 6–15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Telecommunication Systems , Optical Fiber , and ELV Systems (CCTV, Access Control, PAGA, etc.) for onshore and offshore projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of telecom and security systems in compliance with international standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement telecom and security systems for oil & gas projects (upstream/downstream), including: CCTV & Surveillance Systems Access Control & Intrusion Detection (PIDS) Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA) Systems Structured Cabling (LAN/WAN, PABX, Telephony) Fiber Optic Cabling (FOC), VSAT, Microwave Systems Radio Communication Systems (TETRA, UHF/VHF Marine & Aero, GMDSS, AIS) High-Capacity Transmission Systems (DWDM, SDH) Deliver Basic Engineering, FEED, and Detailed Design packages per international standards (IEC, ITU, NFPA, API) and client specifications. Prepare documentation such as system architecture diagrams, cable layouts, and equipment configurations. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams , vendors, site personnel, and EPC contractors to ensure smooth integration and project delivery. Provide support during FAT, SAT, and commissioning stages. Ensure compliance with hazardous area classifications and safety standards . Must-Have Skills: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Telecom Engineer Strong expertise in: Telecommunication Systems Optical Fiber ELV Systems : CCTV, Access Control, PAGA, Fire Alarm Systems, Intrusion Detection Telephony, EPBX, Radio Systems Desirable Skills: Hands-on experience with offshore system integration and hazardous area compliance Offshore safety certifications: BOSIET, HUET (preferred) Experience with high-capacity transmission systems (DWDM/SDH) Strong communication and technical documentation skills Educational Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related engineering disciplines Apply Now If you meet the above qualifications and are ready to take on a dynamic role in the oil & gas sector, we encourage you to apply.
