Technical Support Engineer

You will be responsible for providing enterprise level technical support to customers through various channels such as phone, web, email, and chat. Your main duties will include: - Taking ownership of customer issues and ensuring they are resolved satisfactorily - Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions for customer problems - Following standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate teams - Providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers - Ensuring all issues are properly recorded and closed - Generating accurate and timely reports - Documenting knowledge in the form of tech notes and articles for the knowledge base To qualify for this role, you must have: - A BE degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Previous experience in enterprise technical support - Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, utilities, and scripting - Strong problem-solving skills - Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills If you are interested in this position and believe you are a suitable candidate, please send your resume and a cover letter explaining why you are the right person for this role to hr@perceptwebsolutions.com.
