Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Service Engineer to join our JCB Construction Equipment Service Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for JCB machines such as Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, and Loaders.

This position is suitable for individuals who are passionate about heavy machinery, customer service, and field diagnostics, and who are eager to grow in the construction equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support for JCB equipment, including diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Attend service calls and resolve machine breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Carry out machine inspections, performance analysis, and service reporting.
• Support the dealer and customer teams with installation, commissioning, and warranty repairs.
• Prepare Service Visit Reports (SVR) and maintain proper documentation in the JCB portal.
• Coordinate with the Parts and Warranty teams for claim approvals and component replacements.
• Conduct training and demonstrations for customers and operators on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Provide technical feedback to the product and service teams on recurring issues or failures.
• Ensure compliance with JCB service policies, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience:
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may apply.
• Experienced candidates (1–5 years) in construction equipment / heavy vehicle / automobile service will be preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and service documentation.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Familiarity with service portals, MS Office, and basic reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively for field service operations.

Compensation: Fixed + Performance / Field Allowances
