Job title: Sales and Marketing Officer, JCB heavy line Industrial Equipment Products
Job summary
The Sales and Marketing Executive for JCB Industrial Products is responsible for driving sales and market share of JCB's industrial equipment like (JCB,BACKHO LOADERS, EXCAVATORS, TELEHANDLERS, HEAVY LINES) within an assigned territory. This includes both new business development and nurturing relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong business-to-business (B2B) & (B2C) sales experience, deep knowledge of the industrial equipment or heavy machinery market, and expertise in strategic marketing and promotion.
Key responsibilities
Sales and business development
· Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the industrial and construction sectors.
· Engage with existing JCB machine customers to promote and sell genuine Machines, attachments, and service contracts.
· Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends, and to analyze competitor products and activities.
· Provide product demonstrations and present the features and benefits of JCB's industrial equipment to prospective buyers.
· Negotiate contracts, close sales deals, and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
· Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates to management.
Marketing and brand promotion
· Implement marketing initiatives and sales promotion strategies to increase sales and brand visibility.
· Plan and participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to generate leads and enhance brand presence.
· Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to align strategies, create marketing materials, and execute multichannel campaigns.
· Manage digital marketing activities, such as website content, social media, and online sales platforms, to generate qualified leads.
· Support the dealership or sales team with technical insights and product demonstrations.
Customer relationship management
· Act as a liaison between potential customers and the company's internal teams.
· Manage customer data within a CRM database to ensure accurate sales forecasting and client history.
· Provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Required skills and qualifications
· Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate degree in sales and marketing is preferred.
· Experience: 2–5+ years of B2B & B2C sales and marketing experience, preferably in the industrial equipment, construction machinery, or heavy commercial vehicle sector. Experience in OEM or dealer channel management is a plus.
· Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of industrial machinery and construction processes is essential.
· Sales skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
· Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
· Marketing skills: Familiarity with digital marketing, lead generation, and market analysis.
