Technical Sales Manager

Role Description

1.  In-depth technical knowledge of elastomer (TPE / TPU / TPV) compound formulations and processes and is able to provide value-added solutions to customers and be helpful in product development initiatives.
2. Hands-on experience in conducting trials at the customer end for injection, extrusion & blown applications.
3. Visit prospective customers, understand customer requirements and product specifications, and suggest our equivalent grades or else guide the production team and develop grades as per customer requirements.
4. Conduct trials at customer end & resolve any issues pertaining to molding or extrusion applications
5. Achieve sales targets as per committed volumes.
6. Identifies new applications/customers by remaining current on industry trends & market activities along with competitor updates.
7. Attend to customer complaints, develop solutions & successfully drive resolutions & achieve regular sales.
8. Good team player, as needed through collaboration with various departments.

Qualifications

• Candidate preferably from an elastomer (TPE / TPU / TPV) background.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Knowledge of the plastics industry is a plus
