Responsibilities & Duties: Strategic Sales & Market Development: Develop and implement effective sales plans to reach revenue targets and broaden the customer base. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Lead sales efforts, including presentations, proposals, and negotiations, to secure new business and grow existing accounts. Technical & Application Support: Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and internal teams. Manage and provide hands-on product application support at paper mills, understanding product performance, technical suitability, and customer benefits. Plan, coordinate, conduct, and supervise all technical product trials and assess their performance. Study and recommend the suitability of raw materials for final products. Maintain a Technical Account Plan for all customers with detailed information on paper mill specifics and application details. Help resolve customers' technical queries, clarifications, and complaints, providing continuous support for changing needs. Internal Collaboration & Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery. Actively work with Artemyn's manufacturing plants to address product-related technical and application issues. Actively participate in New Product Development and Innovation, aligned with evolving customer needs. Reporting & Logistics: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales activities and market trends. Prepare all technical-related reports. Willingness to travel extensively throughout India to meet with customers and partners and conduct on-site work. Qualifications & Experiences Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Polymers, Chemicals) with a strong preference for a degree in Paper Technology from a reputable and recognized institute. Experience : A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share. This experience must include: At least 4 years in a production, process, or quality control role within a reputable paper mill. Significant experience in B2B sales or marketing within related industries in India. Experience in managing multinational, multi-cultural B2B sales and external channel partners (agents/distributors). Specialized Knowledge : In-depth understanding of paper and board products, manufacturing processes, and applications. Experience in the application of wet-end, coating, or paper chemicals/pigments. Strong understanding of the Indian market and business culture. Skills & Personal Specifications Communication : Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
