Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager to join our team in the Aviation Security domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security technologies, including X-ray scanners, video analytics, video management software, surveillance systems, and AI/ML-based solutions. This role requires a strategic sales leader capable of driving revenue growth, managing key customer accounts, and leading technical solution selling in the aviation sector.

Sales Leadership

Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and sell security solutions, including X-ray scanners, Under Vehicle Scanner, AI/ML based surveillance solutions inc. Video analytics/video management software

  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders in the aviation security industry, including airport authorities, airlines, and government agencies.
  • Drive business development activities to generate new leads and build a strong sales pipeline in the aviation security market.

Technical Solution Selling

Lead technical discussions with prospective clients, understanding their security needs and recommending tailored solutions.

  • Provide detailed product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the capabilities of security systems (e.g., X-ray scanners, Under Vehicle Scanner, AI/ML based surveillance solutions inc. Video analytics/video management software).

Work closely with the engineering team to customize solutions and support the technical aspects of proposals and bids.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Manage and support key accounts, ensuring that customer requirements are met throughout the sales cycle and post-sales support.
  • Collaborate with the customer success and support teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation of solutions.

Market and Product Expertise

  • Stay informed on the latest industry trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape in aviation security.
  • Provide valuable market insights to the product development and marketing teams to help shape the future of our solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in X-ray scanners, surveillance technologies, AI/ML applications, and video management systems.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, tracking progress against targets.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales activities, track leads, and document customer interactions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications in security technologies are a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical sales or business development in the aviation security domain or a related field.
  • Proven experience in selling and handling X-ray scanners, video analytics, video management software, AI/ML-based solutions, and surveillance systems.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation security industry, including regulations, best practices, and key players in the market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales cycles and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Familiarity with global aviation security standards and regulations.
