Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

    • Develop and execute B2B sales strategies for industrial chemicals, solvents, and transformer oils.
    • Achieve revenue targets and ensure consistent business growth.

      Key Account Management:

    • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with major industrial clients, OEMs, and power utilities.
    • Identify client needs and provide tailored technical solutions.

      Market Expansion:

    • Explore new markets, industries, and applications for products.
    • Generate leads, identify business opportunities, and drive pipeline growth.

      Technical Expertise & Support:

    • Advise clients on product applications, specifications, and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to align products with client requirements.

      Team Leadership & Mentoring:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
    • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and implement sales best practices.

      Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare sales forecasts, track KPIs, and report to senior management.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform strategy.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Education:

    • B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
    • MBA (Sales/Marketing) is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • 815 years of experience in B2B sales of industrial chemicals, solvents, or transformer oil.
    • Proven track record in

      key account management, revenue growth, and sales strategy

  • Industry Exposure:

    • Industrial Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals
    • Petrochemicals / Solvents
    • Transformer Oil / Electrical Insulating Oil
    • Power & Energy / Utilities
    • Paints, Coatings, Adhesives, or Oil & Gas (optional)
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong technical knowledge of industrial chemicals and transformer oils.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
    • Leadership & team management abilities.
    • Market analysis, business strategy, and problem-solving aptitude.
