Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer with strong expertise in Jigs, Fixtures, and Precision Engineering Solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and providing technical-commercial solutions for manufacturing industries. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in automotive, aerospace, heavy engineering, and manufacturing industries. Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible jigs, fixtures, and machining solutions. Collaborate with the design and production teams to prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and quotations. Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide suitable engineering solutions. Present and explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and convincing manner. Negotiate and finalize sales contracts while ensuring profitability. Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales support. Track competitor activities and market trends to strategize business growth. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of experience in sales of Jigs, Fixtures, Tooling, or Machining Solutions. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tool room operations, CAD/CAM basics. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and client management abilities. Ability to travel for client visits and on-site discussions. Problem-solving mindset with technical-commercial acumen. Preferred Attributes: Experience in precision machining, SPMs, gauges, or automation solutions. Strong professional network in OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently. Growth Opportunities: Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and engineering solutions. Direct client interaction with reputed OEMs and Tier suppliers. Career progression into Key Account Manager / Regional Sales Manager roles
