What We Offer:

What can you expect in a Technical Recruiter role with TaskUs: Think of yourself as the one that will take the lead in identifying and attracting the best IT, Data Science/Analytics, and Digital talents to TaskUs. You will be doing end-to-end talent delivery - from sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and new-hire aftercare. You will act as a business partner and SME, delivering top-notch candidates in a time-sensitive manner.

As a Technical Recruiter, you will:

  • You will partner with Hiring Leaders to build an effective sourcing, assessment, and onboarding approach to manage their expectations while possessing a deep understanding of the urgency of their needs.

  • You will prepare and contribute proactive status reports and/or drive conversations on your hiring progress for active searches.

  • You must be able to build rapport and entice passive candidates from profiles that possess the culture described in our leadership principles.

  • You will build and maintain a talent network of potential candidates through proactive market research and exceptional relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences - through high interview-to-offer ratios. So you must possess a strong ability to screen, interview, and manage a candidate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.

  • You will develop research to map out markets and generate candidate names and profiles; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent, and calibrate your candidates prior to scheduling interviews with hiring managers.

  • You will continually contribute to the knowledge base of the group - sharing new information about industries and talent pools or profile types.

  • You must be able to articulate in writing, recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Candidates:

    • Proactively search for and engage potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.

    • Build and maintain a pool of candidates for future hiring needs.

  • Candidate Screening:

    • Review resumes and portfolios to assess technical qualifications.

    • Conduct initial screenings to evaluate technical skills, culture fit, and interest in the role.

    • Schedule and conduct technical interviews, possibly involving technical assessments or coding challenges.

  • Collaborating with Hiring Managers:

    • Advise on the competitive landscape and help hiring managers refine role specifications and candidate expectations.

  • Managing the Full Recruiting Lifecycle:

    • Guide candidates through the interview process, providing feedback and support at each stage.

    • Present offers and negotiate compensation packages with selected candidates.

    • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

  • Building Relationships:

    • Foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future opportunities.

    • Engage in employer branding initiatives to promote the company as an employer of choice within the tech community.

  • Tracking and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).

    • Monitor key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality to continuously improve recruiting processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience (3+ years) in recruiting for technical roles, including software developers, engineers, and other IT-related positions.

    • Experience with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and familiarity with technical screening tools.

    • Full cycle for recruiting processes


  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of technical roles, technologies, and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby, DevOps, cloud computing).

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both candidates and hiring teams.

    • Ability to assess candidates' technical skills through interviews, coding challenges, or technical assessments.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday.

  • Knowledge of modern recruiting trends and employer branding strategies.

Education / Certifications:

  • A degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (optional but beneficial).

  • Familiarity with technical certifications or industry-specific technical skills
