Technical Project Manager

Location: Greater NoidaExperience: 12-15 yearsMode: Work from office We at Coforge are hiring a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java and open-source technologies, ideally within the banking or financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on software development experience and a proven track record of managing complex, enterprise-level projects. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and aligning technical solutions with business goals. Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to delivery for software development projects.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Coordinate with development teams using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and open-source stacks.Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and banking compliance standards.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.Provide technical guidance and support to development teams when needed.Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to senior management and stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and team performance.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in Java and open-source technologies.3+ years of experience in project management roles.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Experience in the banking or financial services sector is mandatory.Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
