Technical Project Lead

As a Project Technical Lead at Aion Silicon, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of complex SoC or ASIC projects. Your role will involve defining the technical strategy and delivery approach for each project, ensuring effective execution by engineering teams and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process. You will play a pivotal role in securing first-time silicon success by communicating clearly, anticipating risks, and making informed technical decisions. Additionally, you will represent Aion Silicon in customer-facing technical discussions, aligning expectations on scope, requirements, and milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the technical delivery of complex SoC/ASIC projects across multiple engineering disciplines. - Ensure teams deliver against agreed specifications, timelines, quality, and cost targets. - Drive collaboration and alignment across inter-functional teams and technical workstreams. - Identify, manage, and escalate risks and support change control where needed. - Mentor and support engineering contributors, ensuring clarity of roles and priorities. - Support project planning and resource allocation with the Project Manager. - Own technical decision-making within your discipline, ensuring consistency and best practice. - Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. - Track and report technical status, risks, and KPIs clearly and confidently. - Represent Aion Silicon in customer technical meetings and reviews. Qualifications Required: - Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. - Proven experience delivering multi-disciplinary SoC/ASIC programmes. - Strong leadership and mentoring capability. - Confident decision-maker with strong risk management and problem-solving skills. - Clear and credible communicator, both internally and with customers. - Experience in customer-facing technical discussions and shaping Statements of Work (SoWs).
