Technical Program Manager

• Program Leadership:

   Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs related to Cisco ACI deployments, migrations, and upgrades. This includes planning, execution, and closure.

• Stakeholder Management:

   Act as the primary interface between engineering teams, product management, sales, and senior leadership. Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to all stakeholders effectively.

• Project Management:

   Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Identify and mitigate risks, manage resource allocation, and ensure adherence to best practices. Utilize project management tools like 

  Jira, Confluence

  , and 

  MS Project

  .

• Technical Expertise:

   Serve as a subject matter expert for Cisco ACI technology. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the engineering team's output aligns with program goals.

• Team Collaboration:

   Facilitate communication and collaboration across diverse teams, including network engineering, DevOps, and security. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Documentation:

   Ensure all project documentation, including design documents, implementation plans, and runbooks, is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date.

• Mentorship:

   Mentor junior technical program managers and project leads, sharing your expertise in project management and Cisco ACI.

• Experience:

   A minimum of 

  10 years of experience

   in the IT industry, with at least 

  5 years in a Technical Program Management

   role.

• Cisco ACI Expertise:

   Extensive, hands-on experience with the design, implementation, and management of 

  Cisco ACI fabric

  . In-depth knowledge of ACI architecture, multi-site deployments, and integrations with Layer 4-7 services.

• Networking Fundamentals:

   Deep understanding of data center networking concepts, including routing protocols (

  BGP, OSPF

  ), switching technologies (

  VPC, VXLAN

  ), and network security.

• Methodologies:

   Proven experience with both 

  Agile

   and 

  Waterfall

   project management methodologies.

• Communication:

   Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Certifications:

   Professional certifications such as 

  PMP, Prince2, or ITIL

   are highly desirable. Cisco certifications like 

  CCNP Data Center

   or 

  CCIE Data Center

   are a significant plus.
