Data Center Network Engineer (Cisco ACI Specialist)

As a Data Center Network Engineer specializing in Cisco ACI, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable network infrastructures across data center environments. Your hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric and related components will be essential in integrating with virtualization and security platforms. Your expertise in modern data center networking, Layer 2/3 protocols, and troubleshooting complex issues will ensure the smooth operation of multi-site environments. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing Cisco ACI-based data center networks, managing ACI Fabric components, integrating with virtualization and security platforms, planning migrations to ACI-based fabric, and performing network assessments and capacity planning. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years of data center networking experience, and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco ACI. Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols, IP addressing/subnetting, network monitoring tools, and troubleshooting skills are necessary. Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management is preferred. Preferred qualifications include Cisco certifications, experience with Cisco Nexus switches, multi-site ACI deployments, automation skills using Ansible or Python, security integration expertise, and experience in enterprise or service provider environments.
