Job Description

  • A Technical Product Specialist provides expert technical assistance and support for a company's products, bridging the gap between the technical aspects of a product and its sales, marketing, and user experience.
  • Key responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert for sales teams, providing technical training and support to customers, troubleshooting complex issues, contributing to product strategy and roadmaps, and gathering market and customer feedback to drive product enhancements and growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise & Support: Serve as the go-to person for technical questions, providing in-depth knowledge of product features, capabilities, and limitations to internal teams and external customers.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Assist the sales team with product demonstrations and presentations, offering technical expertise to help close deals and promoting product awareness.
  • Customer Success & Training: Provide training and support to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the product and resolving any technical issues they encounter.
  • Product Improvement: Gather customer feedback, analyze market trends, and conduct competitive research to identify areas for product enhancement and future growth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, development, sales, and customer success teams to align on product strategy and execute product roadmaps.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, such as user guides, FAQs, and technical specifications, to aid users and internal teams.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific product or technology they are specializing in.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and provide clear solutions. Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer Service: A customer-centric mindset with patience and empathy to address customer inquiries and issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical problems effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to switch between technical and non-technical tasks and environments smoothly.
