Technical Presales Engineer

As an IT & AV Engineer, your role involves designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual systems within the organization. This includes setting up and supporting various AV equipment like audio systems, video conferencing solutions, projectors, displays, and control systems to ensure seamless operation for meetings, presentations, and events. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, configuring, and installing AV systems - Integrating AV solutions into different spaces - Collaborating with various teams to meet AV system requirements for new or renovated spaces - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly - Providing technical support for live events - Responding to client requests for assistance To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field - Previous experience as a network administrator, AV engineer, or similar role - Strong understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and AV solutions - Knowledge of network security practices and routing/switching technologies - Basic knowledge of AV devices, design, integration, and BOQ creation Additionally, you will be expected to deliver training to users on operating AV equipment, create and maintain user manuals and system documentation, and educate end-users on best practices for setting up AV equipment. The job may require full-time availability with occasional on-call or after-hours support and travel to different locations for installations and support.
