Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 4-6 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 yearsLocation: Remote (India)JobType: full-timeWe are seeking a technically sound and detail-oriented professional to lead solution delivery and operations for CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service) offerings, including SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS. This role involves managing integrations, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-performance messaging solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technical operations and successful solution delivery for CPaaS services such as SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, support, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
  • Manage API integrations and maintain backend workflows, system health, and service availability.
  • Utilize SQL to run queries and perform data modifications (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) in MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
  • Conduct routine system checks using SSH and Linux CLI tools for server logs, disk usage, and performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack—frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Define API specifications and test endpoints using tools such as Postman or cURL; work with developers to enhance API performance and reliability.
  • Use database management tools like DBeaver, MySQL Workbench, or pgAdmin to monitor and query databases effectively.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and customer support teams to manage service incidents and ensure SLA adherence and high system uptime.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a technical role within the CPaaS, telecom, or messaging domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and command-line operations.
  • Practical knowledge of REST APIs, API testing, and tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar.
  • Experience using SSH for remote server access and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with database tools such as DBeaver, MySQL Workbench, or pgAdmin.
  • Solid understanding of web application architecture and how different components (frontend, backend, databases) interact.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage technical tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills
