Technical Lead (SQL)

Job Description

Role: Technical Lead SQL will be responsible for SQL development in the SQL server. Will work with other Developers and Product Managers throughout the software development lifecycle, including unit testing. You will be guided in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages to fulfill our business needs. The role requires you to work as a Senior Hands-on Individual Contributor and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities: Communicate with the business teams and clients for requirements. Guide junior team members in day-to-day activities. Design and develop technical solutions. Estimate, plan, and schedule deliveries. Troubleshoot production issues with minimal support. Manage deployments and releases. Source code configuration and management. Analyse and mitigate risks. Report accurate status to all stakeholders. Required Skills: The candidate should have completed B.E. / BTech / B.C.A. / M.E. / MTech /, M.C.A /M.C.M from a recognized institute. Primary Skills: MS SQL server 2012-2019, SSIS, MS-SQL. Secondary Skills: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, (Oracle, Sybase would be a plus but not mandatory). Primary skills of SQL Server 2012 and above. Ability to interpret requirements and write SQL scripts. Know all features of SQL Server 2012 Stored Procedures, SQL Jobs, Functions, and Triggers. Good understanding of database migration from different sources to MS SQL server. Good knowledge of DDL/DML/DCL queries, query tuning & performance optimization. Knowledge of SSIS is mandatory. Good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of people in the organization. Candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Factory is a plus. Experience 8-12+ years.
