Description
The incumbent will work in a multi-process, multi-threaded environment, applying expertise in C/C++, VoIP protocols (SIP, VoLTE, RTP), and debugging tools like Wireshark and GDB. The role involves resolving customer issues, planning technical requirements, and managing product evolution through design and documentation. The incumbent will also contribute to improving product performance and support the integration of technologies like GPON. You have: Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream with 3+ years of development and debugging experience in C/C++ for multi-threaded environments. Familiarity with debugging tools like Wireshark, SIPP, and GDB. Familiarity with network architecture and protocols such as IPV4/IPV6, TCP/IP, and basic L2/L3 routing. Experience working with GPON technologies. It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, VoLTE, RTP, T38) and management protocols like OMCI, TR098/TR104. Understanding of different SoC architectures (32-bit, 64-bit) and toolchains. In-depth knowledge of Linux and IPC techniques, with strong user space and kernel space experience. Understanding of voice quality, DSP, and voice codecs in telecom applications. Knowledge of quality assurance and process improvement methodologies. Use expertise in C/C++, VoIP protocols, and debugging tools to independently diagnose and resolve customer trouble tickets. Plan technical requirements, manage SW/HW build releases, and support product updates, gaining experience in release management. Assist in designing, developing, and testing hardware/software solutions tailored to customer needs, broadening skills in system design. Deepen understanding of VoIP protocols, DSP, voice quality, QoS, network architecture, with a focus on IPV4/IPV6 and L2/L3 routing. Collaborate with various vendors to integrate SoC architecture, learning to troubleshoot and enhance third-party solutions. Gain exposure to GPON technologies, expanding skillset and adding value to knowledge of networking and telecom systems.
