Key Responsibilities

• Create exploded view illustrations and parts catalogs from engineering inputs using PLM tools.
• Develop isometric illustrations using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Creo Illustrate, or similar.
• Generate interactive visuals to assist with component identification and servicing.
• Author and maintain assembly and FRU drawings, ensuring compliance with change management processes.
• Analyze assembly/disassembly sequences and translate them into technical illustrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product support teams for bill of materials (BOM) generation.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including offshore teams.
• Continuously review and correct illustration discrepancies based on field feedback.
• Support engineering documentation efforts before product shipment.
• Maintain and update part information in line with replacements and supersessions.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (4-year degree is mandatory).
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in technical illustration or part catalog authoring within engineering domains.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following tools:
• Creo
• SolidWorks
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Creo Illustrate or equivalent
• Strong understanding of isometric technical illustration development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience in product-based companies is mandatory (or service companies working for product clients).
• Minimum 2 years of tenure in each previous organization (no frequent job changes).
• Willingness to relocate to Chennai and attend in-person interview at the company location.

• Exposure to automotive or heavy machinery domains.
• Experience working with engineering and product design teams across multiple geographies.
