Job Title: Technical Design Manager Hospitality

Location: Noida

Working Hours: Monday - Friday from 4:30 pm to 1:30 am IST

Experience: 7-10+ years in hospitality design (incl. people/project leadership)

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelors in interior design/architecture; hospitality portfolio with delivered hotels (rooms + public areas).
  • 710+ years total; 24+ years managing designers and external partners.
  • Strong command of

    AutoCAD

    and working literacy in

    SketchUp/Revit

    ,

    Lumion/Enscape/V-Ray

    ,

    Photoshop

    , and

    MS Office

    (advanced Excel).
  • Proven track record with

    FF&E specs

    ,

    room matrices

    , and

    take-offs

    ; comfortable with spec-creation software (e.g., DesignSpec/SpecSources or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of

    electrical/lighting layouts

    ; can read and coordinate MEP.
  • Outstanding communication skills fluent in English (spoken and written) to clearly direct designers, document decisions, liaise with vendors, and represent the design intent accurately.

Nice to Have

  • Revit-based coordination experience, hospitality brand rollouts, prototype compliance, and mock-up room commissioning.
  • Familiarity with sustainability criteria (material VOCs, energy-efficient lighting) and cost/lead-time market knowledge across India.

Tools & Platforms

AutoCAD (primary), SketchUp/Revit, Lumion/Enscape, V-Ray, Photoshop, MS Office (Excel power user), spec-creation software, cloud file/version control (e.g., BIM 360/SharePoint/Google Drive).

Role Overview

Own end-to-end design delivery for hospitality projectsguiding concept through construction documents—while mentoring a team member with strong CAD/3D skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/Enscape, V-Ray) and balanced creative/technical abilities. You’ll ensure brand compliance, drawing quality, accurate take-offs/room matrices, and airtight FF&E specifications aligned to budgets and timelines.

What You’ll Lead

  • Design Implementation:

    Translate briefs/Design Direction into spatial concepts; validate layouts, adjacencies, and guest-flow for rooms and public areas.
  • Quality Control (QC):

    Review/mark-up plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and coordinated MEP/electrical layouts.
  • FF&E/Specs:

    Oversee room matrices, furniture take-offs, and coordinate with specification packages - confirm fit via CAD against clearances/ergonomics.
  • 3D & Visualization:

    Set visual standards; review 3D models, materiality, lighting, renders, and virtual walkthroughs for sign-off.
  • Budget & Program:

    Align specifications to target budgets; sequence deliverables; manage design schedules and revision logs. Knowledge on technical and performance standards to be able to provide Value Engineered options.
  • Standards & Compliance:

    Enforce brand standards/ local codes, accessibility norms, and client SOPs; maintain a living standards library.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

    Interface with Natson Development, and key vendors; support VE (value engineering) without losing intent.
  • People Management:

    Coach designers with structured reviews, redlines, checklists, and skills development plans.
