Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Design Manager to manage and oversee the technical execution of interior design projects. This role is responsible for bridging creative design with technical feasibility, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and oversee the technical execution of interior design projects from concept to completion. Collaborate closely with the design team to understand design intent and translate it into technically sound solutions. Coordinate with external consultants and contractors across various building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil elements. Review and validate technical drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material specifications. Oversee fabrication, production, and installation processes ensuring timely and quality execution on-site. Liaise with factory teams to address production queries and ensure design alignment with manufacturing capabilities. Ensure all technical work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Lead and mentor the technical team to deliver projects effectively and efficiently. Proactively troubleshoot technical challenges during design and execution phases. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in the interior design industry in a technically focused role. Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma in Interior Design. Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, detailing, and industry regulations. Proven experience in project coordination, site supervision, and factory production alignment. Excellent knowledge of modular interiors, material specifications, and coordination of services such as electrical, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC (MEP) Strong leadership and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in AutoCAD.
