Job Description

  • The Technical Delivery Head is responsible for managing and leading the end-to-end delivery of technology programs and projects across multiple clients/accounts
  • This role combines strong technical expertise with program management and stakeholder leadership to ensure high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects/programs across various technology stacks
  • Define and implement delivery roadmaps, engineering best practices, and governance processes
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and support engineers
  • Ensure on-time, within-budget, high-quality delivery, meeting all SLAs and KPIs Partner with clients, sales, and product teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into executable delivery plans
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance, performing oversight on architecture, solution design, and engineering approaches
  • Manage resource planning, budgeting, utilisation, P&L, and delivery forecasts Conduct regular project reviews, risk analysis, and proactively manage escalations Drive continuous improvement, automation, and adoption of Agile/DevOps practices
  • Build high-performance teams through coaching, mentoring, and establishing a strong engineering culture Contribute to pre-sales, solutioning, and RFP responses as a delivery expert Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high CSAT and long-term account growth
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify key internal and external stakeholders for each project/engagement, establish early relationships, and maintain effective communications
  • Solid Negotiation Skills: Conduct situation-based negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders (clients), ensuring alignment and effective resolution
  • Critical Situation (CritSit) Management: Proactively manage critical situations, ensuring quick resolution while maintaining stakeholder confidence
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative work environment and collective achievement of project goals

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 18+ years of experience in technology delivery/IT services, including 4 6+ years in a delivery leadership position Hands-on background in software engineering or architecture (eg, cloud, full-stack, enterprise systems, data, DevOps, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and modern delivery methodologies Proven track record in delivering complex, large-scale projects with distributed teams
  • Excellent client management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills Strong experience managing budgets, utilisation, and commercial aspects (P&L)
  • Ability to influence technical direction, solve problems, and manage escalations
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Computer Science (masters degree preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CSM, SAFe, AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Experience in digital transformation, product/platform delivery, cloud migration, or enterprise modernisation programs
