Role Overview:

DevOps Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
• Design, implement, and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  for multiple applications.
• Drive automation initiatives across infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) ensuring cost efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like

  Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi

  .
• Oversee containerization and orchestration using

  Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

  .
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems with

  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, or Datadog

  .
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies are in place.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Security, Ops) to drive a DevSecOps culture.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to continuously improve DevOps practices.
• Establish governance, compliance, and security best practices across environments.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to DevOps strategy and roadmap.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE

  Lead.
• Strong expertise in

  CI/CD tools

  : Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Hands-on experience with

  cloud platforms

  : AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Solid understanding of

  containerization & orchestration

  : Docker, Kubernetes.
• Expertise in

  IaC tools

  : Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (

  Python, Shell, PowerShell, Go

  ).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with

  security best practices

  and DevSecOps frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have:

• Exposure to

  microservices architecture

  and API gateway management.
• Experience with

  FinOps / Cloud cost optimization

  .
• Knowledge of

  compliance standards

  (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Contributions to

  open-source

  or DevOps communities.

Education:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications preferred:

  AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform Associate, DevOps/SRE certifications
