Technical Delivery Head with a background in Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI

Key Responsibilities:Project Delivery Oversight:

• Lead and manage delivery of Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI-enabled projects with a focus on timelines, quality, and budget adherence.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including AI integration roadmaps where applicable.
• Track project milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Coordinate resources across internal teams, vendors, and cloud partners (e.g., Microsoft).
• Ensure project execution aligns with Agile/DevOps methodologies and industry best practices.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide thought leadership across Microsoft 365, Azure infrastructure/services, and applied AI/ML use cases.
• Drive solution design, architecture, and modernization initiatives leveraging Azure capabilities (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Cognitive Services).
• Stay updated on Microsoft ecosystem developments including Copilot, Fabric, OpenAI integrations, and automation trends.
• Mentor and coach technical teams on full-stack solutioning from collaboration platforms (M365) to data and AI in Azure.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and sustain strong relationships with client stakeholders across technical and business functions.
• Translate client challenges into technical requirements and strategic cloud solutions.
• Present solution approaches, roadmaps, and progress reports with clarity and business alignment.
• Drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnership value through continuous engagement and solution expansion.

Team Management:

• Lead and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary delivery teams across Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI domains.
• Encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Define performance objectives and lead regular performance reviews and career development conversations.
• Effectively manage remote/hybrid teams using modern digital workplace tools.

Process Improvement:

• Champion process maturity by identifying opportunities to streamline delivery through automation and best practices.
• Drive adoption of reusable assets, accelerators, and reference architectures in M365 and Azure.
• Foster knowledge sharing through CoEs, internal communities, and structured documentation practices.

Required Skills and Experience:Microsoft 365 Expertise:

• Deep hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Defender for M365, and Purview.
• Understanding of Microsoft Copilot integrations, Microsoft Graph API, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).

Azure Capabilities:

• Experience with Azure services including Azure AD, App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, and integration tools.
• Familiarity with Azure AI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, and related services for intelligent automation.

Project & Technical Management:

• Proven experience managing technical delivery across large-scale enterprise projects.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
• Strong technical leadership, including code/architecture reviews, backlog grooming, and solution design validation.

AI and Automation Focus:

• Exposure to RPA, AI-driven chatbots (e.g., Power Virtual Agents), and using AI to enhance end-user productivity in M365.
• Experience in integrating AI into business processes using Microsoft ecosystem tools.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and managing stakeholder expectations.

Team & People Leadership:

• Experience in building, mentoring, and scaling cross-functional delivery teams.
• Ability to manage distributed and virtual teams using Microsoft collaboration tools (Teams, Planner, Viva).

Process Maturity & Optimization:

• Knowledge of project governance, KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement strategies.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft 365 Certified

  : Enterprise Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator, Developer Associate.

• Microsoft Certified

  : Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Administrator.

• PMI / Agile Certifications

  : PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master.
