1. Maintenance Responsibilities:

Ø Preventive Maintenance Jobs:

§ Daily machine Inspection with Daily checklist.

§ Carrying out Online PMS based on Checklist as per schedule in the shifts.

§ Offline PMS checks and jobs (Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly and Yearly) to be done during any stoppages and Shutdowns.

§ All PMS jobs carried out should be recorded in Checklist.

§ Any abnormality identified during PMS and Daily inspection be filled in abnormality registers.

§ Abnormality correction to be carried out regularly based on criticality and same to be updated in the register.

§ Spare replacement for abnormality correction to be carried out during Machine stoppages

§ Salvaging Activities to be carried on removed components and After repair same to identified and stored

§ Spare requirements for abnormality correction to intimated to MRF immediately for procurement.

§ Pending PMS jobs be noted down and priority to be given in next cycle.

§ Kaizens and modification to be done to prevent machine failures.

§ Yearly once Daily checklist and PMS check list needs to be revised by adding and Deleting jobs based on machine performance.

§ New jobs which are added to PM be carried out as per schedule.

§ Maintenance of Cooling Tower Motors, PH System

Ø Breakdown Maintenance Jobs:

§ In case of any breakdown it needs to be attended immediately and machine to be made ready as early as possible

§ If any temporary correction is done for any failure same has be to noted down in abnormality register and permanent correction to be carried out in next stoppages.

§ RCA and WHY WHY analysis to be done for failures and preventive actions to be implemented.

§ Based on RCA and WHY- WHY analysis PMS checks /Jobs to be added to the checklist.

§ If any support required for major spares replacement additional manpower needs to be arranged based on needs.

Ø Condition Based Maintenance Jobs:

§ Regular condition based maintenance such as Temperature monitoring of equipment’s, Flow monitoring to be carried as per schedule.

§ Abnormality correction based on Special CBM jobs such as Vibration analysis, Lubrication and Hydraulic oil analysis carried out once in 6 months.

§ NAS value of major power packs (01 nos) to be maintained less than 5. And same to be tested on monthly basis and report should be published.

§ Monthly Thermography Study of Panels and Major drives, Motors

§

Ø General Maintenance Jobs:

§ Machine cleaning needs to be carried out as per schedule

§ In case of any spillage of water, grease and oil during PMS and breakdown same needs to be collected and stored at designated locations

§ Resource leakages (air, and water) to be addressed immediately.

§ 1S,2S of repair rooms need to maintained always.

§ Apart from planned and unplanned maintenance job continuous improvement activity needs to carry out to improve the process and Productivity.

§ Shifting of spares from stores to repair room and from repair room to machine are needs to be carried out (<200 kg)

§ Shifting of removed material from machine to repair room to be done immediately.

§ After any maintenance site needs to clear immediately and area has be cleaned and handed over.

§ Testing of specific spare to be done at workshop

§ Minor fabrication jobs such as drilling, welding, grinding, buffing and soldering needs to be carried out in repair room or machine based on maintenance needs.

§ Oil pumping from barrel and needs to be carried out to department as per needs.

§ TBT to be conducted every shift

§ USA and USC to be reported to Shift supervisors.

§ Proper PPEs and tools needs to be used for Maintenance jobs. Used PPEs needs to be disposed properly.

§ Shifting of scraped material (metal scrap, plastic scrap, scrap oil, used cotton waste, E-Waste and etc.) from department to scrap yard.

Ø Shut down Maintenance:

Ø Manpower needs to be deployed as per requirement during shutdown days (Based on NH and FH list )

Ø Shutdown jobs needs to be executed as per shut down job plan.

Ø Additional manpower for Shutdown jobs needs to arrange as per requirement.

Ø Shutdown and start up Checks needs to be done as per Checklist and Procedure.

Ø Permit Maintenance:

§ Work permits needs to be prepared for all maintenance jobs for Height, hot and Machine works.

§ All permits needs to be closed after completion of jobs.

§ In case of any High risk Jobs LOTO permit to be issued.
