Technical Assistant provides crucial support, blending administrative duties (scheduling, data entry, calls) with technical tasks (equipment setup/maintenance, troubleshooting, basic repairs, inventory) for engineers or end-users, ensuring smooth operations in fields from IT to manufacturing, requiring problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication. Key tasks involve helping technicians, handling technical queries, maintaining records, and supporting projects, with specific duties varying by industry (e.g., software, lab, drilling). Core Responsibilities Technical Support: Assist engineers/technicians, troubleshoot hardware/software, set up equipment, perform basic repairs, manage inventory, and train users. Administrative Duties: Handle calls, emails, data entry, filing, reports, scheduling, and manage technical documentation/records. Operational Assistance: Maintain machines, ensure tools are available, manage materials, conduct tests, and support production/project workflows.
