Job Description

Job Summary: Technical Architect – .NET with Legacy Systems Expertise

Technical Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET technologies.
Analyze existing legacy systems (e.g. Classic ASP, WinForms, WCF) and define modernization strategies.
Lead migration projects from legacy platforms to modern .NET Core/.NET 6+ and Azure-based architectures.
Create and review high-level and detailed architecture artifacts including solution designs, cloud infrastructure diagrams, security models, and CI/CD pipelines and also demonstrate by POC.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure backward compatibility and data integrity during system transitions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and architectural assessments.
Document architecture decisions, integration patterns, and modernization roadmaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
Strong expertise in:
.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#
SQL Server, Entity Framework
Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, DevOps)
RESTful APIs and Microservices

Proven experience with legacy technologies such as:

Classic ASP, WinForms, WCF, ASP.NET Webforms
Mainframe integration (optional)
Experience in system re-engineering and modernization projects.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrate solutions by POC.
