Technical Architect-.NET with Legacy Systems Expertise

You will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET technologies. Your role will involve analyzing existing legacy systems like Classic ASP, WinForms, and WCF to define modernization strategies. You will lead migration projects from legacy platforms to modern .NET Core/.NET 6+ and Azure-based architectures. Additionally, you will create and review high-level and detailed architecture artifacts, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, and ensure backward compatibility and data integrity during system transitions. Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and architectural assessments, and documenting architecture decisions, integration patterns, and modernization roadmaps will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field along with at least 10 years of experience in software development and architecture. Your expertise should include .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, DevOps), RESTful APIs, and Microservices. Proven experience with legacy technologies such as Classic ASP, WinForms, WCF, ASP.NET Webforms, and optional Mainframe integration is required. Experience in system re-engineering and modernization projects, familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, excellent communication, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to demonstrate solutions by POC are also necessary.
