Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for architecting and implementing multi-tier, multi-server environments on AWS. Your role will involve configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows-based web servers. You will lead cloud migration, modernization, and performance optimization projects while designing and implementing infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement multi-tier, multi-server environments on AWS - Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows-based web servers - Build and secure VPCs, subnets, routing, VPN, peering, and firewall/security groups - Lead cloud migration, modernization, and performance optimization projects - Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation - Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS preferred) - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents and provide permanent resolution - Provide accurate effort estimation and assist in project planning - Lead and mentor technical teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and timely delivery - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ELB, VPC, Route53, CloudWatch, etc.) - Advanced expertise in Linux server administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) and solid knowledge of Windows servers - Proven experience in designing scalable, fault-tolerant cloud architectures - In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPN, etc.) - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) - Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration - Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks - Experience in incident management, RCA reporting, and service improvement plans - Ability to manage teams, assign tasks, track progress, and ensure quality delivery - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities Additional Details of the Company: IDX isn't your average communications company.
