Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers; perform installations, updates, and troubleshooting. Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and support cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Provide network and infrastructure support including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure IT security through regular audits, monitoring, and incident response using tools like Nagios/Zabbix. Deliver Level 2/3 technical support and maintain detailed system documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning and deployments. Willing to travel to Cochin or Trivandrum 12 times per month for on-site support as required. Candidate Profile 2-5 years of experience as a System Engineer Strong knowledge of system administration, troubleshooting, and network support Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud services Hands-on experience with IT security and infrastructure monitoring Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel to another location (Cochin or Trivandrum) once or twice a month based on the work location

Key Responsibilities: Windows Server Administration: Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Servers (2003, 2008, 2012). Manage day-to-day server administration functions, including backup, restoration, and file server maintenance. Active Directory and DNS Management: Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management, and WSUS. Manage user accounts, groups, print queues, and access rights using Active Directory. Change Management: Administer change management processes related to server upgrades and software installations. Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor server performance and implement tuning strategies for optimal functionality. VMware and Office 365: Utilize VMware 5.5 to support Windows 2003/2008/2012 environments. Manage Office 365, including user licenses and Microsoft licenses. Symantec Endpoint Protection: Maintain Symantec Endpoint Protection Ver. 14.0 for ensuring the security of the IT infrastructure. Network and Connectivity Management: Design and implement LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions. Manage network components, including telephone, mobile lines, internet, and overall connectivity. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT-related products and services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. Proven experience in Windows Server administration and network management. Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware) is a plus. Skills: Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments. Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Experience with VMware and Office 365 administration. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Job Roles & Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues such as operating systems, Microsoft Office, mails, Outlook, Internet Explorer, desktops, laptops, printers, basic LAN/WAN connectivity and others as assigned. Escalate the issue accordingly to escalation process when unable to resolve it. Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades. Monitor daily backups, etc. Ensure all system & Servers are updated with latest antivirus & Window patches. Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically. • Advise user on appropriate action. Managing the service desk. Documentation, Coordinate with Vendor, Service Provider, etc. Escalation Management Candidate Requirements At least 4 years of experience. Knowledge of computer hardware, operating system & application such Microsoft Office, Mailing system, Internet explorer, basic networking, printers etc. Troubleshooting the Hardware and Software problems. Should be open to work in 24*7 environments. Good communication skills. Ability to respond to production issues on a 24x7 basis and extending beyond Normal Working Hours.
