Technical Architect

You will be joining Crisil, a data-centric organization, as a Technical Architect. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions will be a key aspect of your job. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that can handle large data sets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions accordingly. - Review and fine-tune existing applications for optimal performance, scalability, and security. - Work with the central architecture team to establish best coding practices, principles, and guidelines. - Develop and maintain technical roadmaps in alignment with business objectives. - Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance, scalability, and security. - Lead the design and implementation of large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff. - Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, making recommendations for adoption. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 10-15 years of experience in Software development, with a minimum of 5 years in technical architecture or a related field. **Technical Skills:** - Profound understanding of software architecture principles and patterns. - Proficiency in Java and Java-based technologies such as Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Java EE, Angular, and React. - Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Scala, and PySpark. - Experience with cloud-based technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. - Practical experience with DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous deployment. **Leadership Skills:** - Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and projects. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Effective influencing and negotiation skills. **Soft Skills:** - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Superior written and verbal communication skills. - Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements. **Nice to Have:** - Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools. - Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence. - Certification in Java development or technical architecture such as TOGAF. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
