TI delivers industry-leading infrastructure products and services to the company’s employees, customers and clients around the world.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in various mainframe technologies, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. This role involves proactive monitoring, issue resolution, performance tuning, and close collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and reliability of critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for complex mainframe-based applications ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents. Perform basic issue analysis and co-ordinate with dev tams; provide user communication.
• Maintain production support documentation, job flow diagrams and runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, change management policies and SLAs.
• Participate in weekend/after-hours deployments and on-call rotation as needed.
• Good communication and team collaboration, willingness to learn and adapt.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts- weekend on-call.

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Experience range : 3 + years

Foundational skills:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in managing large scale mainframe environment.
• Strong technical skills – COBOL, JCL, CA7, IMS/DB2
• Industry experience preferably in banking with support background and related high-pressure environment, other industry experience will also be considered.
• Good knowledge of ITSM and experience in production support, Incident management, problem management.

Desired skills:

• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes in priorities.
• Excellent spoken and written English and clear oral communication skills.

Work Timings: 9:30 IST – 18:30 IST / 12:30 IST – 21:30 IST
