We are hiring a Tech Lead (Remote) to work on Interoperability Projects for healthcare insurance clients in the US, so excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. This role requires a strong technical understanding of US Healthcare Interoperability.

Who are you?
You will serve as the offshore delivery leader, providing direction across engineering, QA, data, and vendor teams, ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates and interoperability frameworks.
- US Payer Experienced: You’ve worked with health plans or payer technology vendors and understand healthcare data flows, claims, authorisations, and member-centric data exchange.
- FHIR & API Fluent: Strong hands-on experience with FHIR resources, API workflows, IGs, and validation tools (Swagger/Postman).
- Technical Delivery Leader: Able to convert regulatory requirements into engineering tasks, clarify data mappings, and unblock teams proactively.
- Confident Communicator: Comfortable engaging with US program leadership, clarifying requirements, and driving decisions.
- Calm Operator: Able to bring structure and clarity in fast-moving, multi-team environments.
- Tools Savvy: Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, Git, Google Workspace, Slack.
What you will be doing?
- Delivery Leader:
- Lead offshore delivery for CMS 0057/9115 interoperability programs.
- Own delivery cadence — standups, sprint planning, risks, dependencies, issue management, and status reporting.
- Drive alignment with onshore program leadership and business stakeholders.
- Technical Guidance
- Translate CMS regulatory and Da Vinci IG requirements into clear instructions for engineering, data, and QA teams.
- Guide API design, FHIR resource usage, and data mapping strategies.
- Validate JSON payloads, FHIR bundles, and API responses.
- Help troubleshoot API issues using Postman, Swagger, logs, and dev tools.
- Interoperability & Standards
- Interpret and guide development based on Da Vinci IGs:
- PDex, Plan-Net, Drug Formulary, PAS/CRD/DTR
- Ensure correct implementation of core FHIR resources:
- Patient, Coverage, Practitioner, Encounter, Claim, PriorAuthorization, Plan-Net entities
- Support environment readiness across Dev/UAT/Prod.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, data teams, and integration vendors.
- Ensure the Definition of Ready/Done is met for each feature.
- Manage release readiness, UAT preparations, and production cutover alignment.
Required Experience
- Mandatory: Experience working with U.S. payers or payer tech vendors.
- Proven hands-on delivery of FHIR-based healthcare APIs.
- Strong knowledge of FHIR resources, profiles, and implementation patterns.
- Experience with Da Vinci IGs (PDex, Plan-Net, Drug Formulary, PAS/CRD/DTR).
- Exposure to CMS interoperability mandates CMS 9115 or CMS 0057.
- 5+ years leading multi-team engineering delivery programs.
- Proficiency with Jira/Azure DevOps and Agile processes.
- Ability to validate FHIR/JSON payloads using Postman/Swagger.
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
