This position has global responsibilities and reports to the Optimus (Next Generation Technology Delivery Execution lead, based in India, Hyderabad. Travel will be limited and will require significant flexibility to work across time zones with people from many cultures.
Oversees the entire program and related project management process, developed and manages the program level plan and governance process, coordinates with different teams and multiple stakeholders, monitors and reports progress, manages risks, dependencies and resolves issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying degrees of complexity and ensure that all projects comply with established governance policies and standards.
Optimize IT PMO processes for scope, time, cost, risk, and quality, and develop action plans to achieve objectives
Adhere to defined IT PMO practices to achieve project goals. Coordinate all program components, including projects and establishing the program environment. This includes creating and integrating program management change control processes and establishing methodology standards for the program and standards for monitoring.
Proactively monitor project resource needs, barriers, constraints, obstacles, risks, dependencies, and issues; resolve in a timely manner; escalate as appropriate
Coordinate delivery of all project deliverables (charter, communication plan, project schedule, etc.) across internal and external stakeholders
Manage local and global stakeholder expectations; report project progress and achieved value through robust and timely communication using standard templates
Manage schedule and related modifications as needed; proactively resolve roadblocks to achieve timely delivery of agreed upon scope, budget and timelines
Lead and drive the project team by keeping upcoming tasks and activities in front of them; coordinate the day-to-day activities of the project and report status in a timely manner
Participate in the continuous development, improvement, verification, and enforcement of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines to ensure efficient and effective operational IT PMO practices
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science
- 10+ years experience leading projects as a Project Manager and running PMO office
- Experience of managing a complex global program spanning across multiple stakeholders, geographies and time span
- Working experience with multinational companies
- Good international communication skill (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated leadership skills and effectiveness in the areas of influence, team leadership, articulating and taking a position, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Critical Chain and/or Agile project management methodologies
