Job Title: Teamcenter Technical Support Engineer Location: Chennai Department: IT / Engineering Support Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Teamcenter Technical Support Engineer to provide expert-level support for Siemens Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting end users, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Teamcenter users across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter client and server-side issues , including installation, configuration, and integration problems. Assist in user account management , access control, and workflow troubleshooting. Work closely with engineering and IT teams to support CAD integrations (e.g., NX, Solid Edge) with Teamcenter. Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and support data migrations and upgrades. Document support cases, resolutions, and best practices in a knowledge base . Assist in training users on Teamcenter functionalities and usage. Escalate unresolved issues to Siemens support or internal engineering teams as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science,ECE or a related field. Both fresher and experience in Teamcenter technical support or administration. Solid understanding of Teamcenter architecture , installation, and configuration. Knowledge of PLM concepts and product data management. Both Fresher & Experience with CAD tools integration (e.g., NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus. Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments , scripting (Shell, PowerShell), and database queries (Oracle/SQL). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple issues and prioritize effectively under pressure. Preferred Skills: Both Fresher & Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace. Exposure to Teamcenter customizations using ITK, SOA, or BMIDE. Understanding of Agile or DevOps principles in PLM environments. Experience in working with global support teams and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
