Team RM Sourcing and Vendor Development

Position Description Business Division: CSM Agchem Department: Commercial and Supply Chain Location: Udaipur Position Title: Team CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt. Level: Executive Reporting To : Head CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt. Position Purpose The Team CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt. is responsible sourcing of new chemicals, getting price quotes, provide costings for key raw material and initiate procurement strategies / purchase schedules. Strategic Responsibilities Execute sourcing methodology using different sourcing tools; ensure speedy price idea availability for costing of new projects. Develop vendors for timely procurement, involved in techno-commercial negotiations. Implement vendor identification management; establishing vendor qualification. Ensure compliance best practices in supplier quality and vendor development Operational Responsibilities . Financial Responsibilities Ensure timely availability of key raw material price, update database on regular basis. Enquire for new raw material from various part of globe to find out the potential supplier with capacity and capability. Use of modern sourcing tools, information. Retrive Import / Export data and prepare price trends. Procurement for lab chemicals and accessories at best price and fastest delivery. Maintain ARC/AMC of service providers Maintain documentation for ISO systems/NABL and GLP comliances. Identify non-moving items and NPA in consultation with R&D and Quality Control department Vendor Development Identify vendors for new material. Conducting market scanning of potential vendors Float enquires, receive quotes, prepare comparisons. Conduct rate negotiations and shortlist vendors Supplier Relationship Manageme Support supplier performance evaluation Support supplier risk assessment Identify supplier development initiatives Implementation of initiatives as per annual action plan People Responsibilities Inform & discuss all sourcing matters with reporting Manager. Ensure smooth working of the department and maintain cordial relations with peers Attend on job training to enhance skills and knowledge Education Qualification B.Sc./ MSc - Chemistry; B.E. – Chemical PG - MBA/PGDM Graduate (Materials Management / Supply Chain) Work Experience 2-3 years of experience in Sourcing / Procurement Industry to be Hired from CRAMS/ PHARMA/ AGRO/ chemical industry Functional Competencies Knowledge of SAP Analytical Skills Import procedure and documentation Interaction Complexity and Team Work Interaction Frequency Purpose of Interaction Internal: Head CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt Daily Providing daily updates and ensuring delivery of goods as per agreed plan
