Purpose/Objective

Setting up systems and processes for Project Governance and Assurance for the BU. Closely working with Project Assurance Head. Drives CPAG Project Assurance initiatives to Plan, Integrate, Monitor & Control of Projects to deliver within scheduled time frame by ensuring integration & coordination amongst the Projects and Cross-functional teams of the business

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities of Role - Review the Project Monitoring and Assurance Processes and Guidelines of the Business and assist the BU PMAG and Projects Head to Formulate the same in line with the central CPAG Processes w.r.t. o Time – Scheduling o Cost – Budgeting and Cost Controls o Quality Parameters o Safety Standards - Develop oversight of all required inputs (material, technical documents and drawings, manpower) at BU project sites as per schedule requirement. - Review the Project Budget w.r.t. Budget & Spend and provide timely information to the Project Head and CPAG Infrastructure Head - Obtaining & generating various MIS and highlighting problem areas for Project Head and CPAG Head for timely intervention. - Assist and facilitate the BU PMAG Head in conducting the periodic project reviews and dissemination of the information to all stakeholders - Assist the BU PMAG Head and BU Project Head w.r.t Planning, Deployment and optimization of Talent Required in the BU Projects - Assist and facilitate the BU PMAG Head in conducting the periodic Performance Reviews of the Employees and provide timely and qualitative feedback

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with PG Diploma in Project Management from reputed institutes/Universities (NICMAR preferred) and PMP Certifications. Experiences: - Experience of 10 to 15 years beginning with Project Execution, Project Management and Assurance including Contract Management and Resource Mobilization. - Experience of working across projects and end-to-end understanding of Mining infrastructure development ecosystem - Exposure and experience in Project Management Tools such as Primavera, MS Projects etc. - Strong analytical skills to conduct cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling. - Good understanding of Project Life Cycles, and Supply Chain Management. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross- functional teams. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of value engineering projects.
