Team Member Manufacturing - Electrical Maintenance

As an Electrical Engineer at Saint-Gobain's Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit, your role will involve the operation and maintenance of various equipment such as switchyard, switchgears, transformers, motors, cranes, battery systems, and PLCs. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting machines, circuit theory, and earthing concepts, along with expertise in control systems, automation systems, VFD, PLC applications, encoders, feedback sensors, and power systems. Additionally, you will be expected to perform energy calculations and suggest efficiency improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operation and Maintenance of various equipment including switchyard, switchgears, transformers, motors, cranes, battery systems, PLCs, and more - Maintenance and operation knowledge in gensets, electrical panels, transformers, isolators, and lightning arrestors - Troubleshooting of various machines, circuit theory, and earthing concepts - Expertise in control systems, automation systems, VFD, PLC applications, encoders, feedback sensors, and power systems - Energy calculations and efficiency improvements **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma in Electrical Engineering from reputed Engineering Institutions with a good academic record - 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Process, or Engineering Industry In addition to the technical responsibilities, Saint-Gobain's Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit has received several accolades for its HR Excellence, WCM Silver Award, Emerald Award for CO2 reduction, HPR certification, and fostering innovation as a culture for Industry 4.0 projects.
